What to Expect During an HVAC Maintenance Appointment
If you’re not sure of when a professional has last taken a look at your HVAC system, then it may be time for a tune-up. Maintenance appointments can be very important in keeping all the components working properly. When everything is in shape, your heating and cooling systems can function more efficiently.
What it Entails
Whether you’re getting regular check-ups or your first inspection in many years, the process is pretty similar. First, a member of our team at Healthy Home Heating and Air in Monroe will do an assessment, walking around to carefully examine each part of the system. This includes ductwork, vents, and registers. Signs of problems include dripping or pooling water and rust and corrosion.
Then, all of your components will be cleaned. Coils, pans, and lines have a tendency to get clogged with dust and debris. We have the tools and skills necessary to do this job effectively. We’ll also check the electrical and mechanical components to make sure connections are tight, wires are intact, and everything is calibrated correctly. Many little things can end up making a big difference.
With regular maintenance, you may be able to:
- Extend the life of your HVAC system
- Lower your energy bill
- Catch problems before they worsen
- Prevent many issues from occurring
If you’d like, we can set up a schedule in which we come every year or biannually to check out your air conditioner and heater.
